Study permit , submitted 7th of Feb.

Hello all,

I have submitted my study permit paper application in VAC in Feb. 3rd and arrived to the embassy Feb. 7th. Have not received any emails or updates from the embassy. Should I email them or wait?

I gave my biometrics the day of submission.

Thanks for your help or anyone who can share their status with me so I can get to know more about the Canadian visa ways!

Have you linked your file with GCkey, that is an account you have to create online on www.canada.ca and then link your offline file with your online account. There you can check the status of your application.

Thanks for your comment, I tried but it does not link. I have put all the information, but never liked
I do not know why! I have not received any emails form the embassy since the submission.
Any ideas?

Bro, this could be a technical issue, thats why your Gckey isnt working, but in my case, i submitted my file on 20th feb and on 21st i linked my file with GCkey. It is linked and working but showing under process.
I think you should wait for the visa.. they take take atleast 30 days for final decision. Hopefully you get your result before 10th March.

Wow... That's great, m glad to see you have just linked it.

Same here bro. It's under process. Don't know about that bro. actually it means they haven't started reviewing the documents yet. Or may be they haven't updated here, soon you will get a message here. Like you have passed the medical, you are eligible or something like that, i have heard like this on YouTube. So, Be positive hope for the best.

Thanks, I have gotten a phd offer and applied for my study permit along with my spouse's open work permit visa from Iraq.
Just found that my application has gone through a lot!

Those are the steps bellow and none required an action. I do not know when those happened as I have linked just now and no dates are shown. And I submitted feb. 3rd

Interview
Biometrics
Background check

Welcome, that's a very good profile. I have submitted my study visa for PG diploma on 20th feb. And it is showing same
