I am trying to renew my Canadian study permit which expires on September 30th 2012. I am currently in my home country of Bermuda and I have to send the application in while I am out of Canada as I do not return until Sept 5 and it doesn't meet the 30 day requirement for processing. Our Canadian counselate office is in New York however on the application form it says to send the application to Alberta. I would just send it to Alberta however I am not able to pay my fees online and get the receipt necessary as Bermudian credit cards are not accepted. We are advised to attach a bank draft to the application instead.
I am wondering though, because I am sending a bank draft and not a receipt will they accept my application/fees in Alberta? Or do I need to send the application/fees to New York?
