Hi, i would like to share my experience. I sent a study permit application on October 19, 2018 through online. I received a confirmation October 19 Eastern Time. The ircc requested for medical on October 22. Then, IOM sent the result of my medical on October 26. My application was updated on October 26, Eastern Time; medical exam passed. I thought i will be approved. On November 8, it says that they started reviewing my eligibility. They released the final decision today saying that i was refused due to the following reasons:
Purpose of visit
Employment prospects at the country of residence
Personal assets and financial status (i have a relative in Canada that will support my study, opened an account to be used for my study)
Current employment situation(note that i am currently working)
Passing the medical exam does not guarantee approval. There is still a long way to go.
