Greetings everyone,

I would like to ask you a quick question. Please forgive my ignorance and advise me.

I have been in Canada , Vancouver for approximately 1 year. At first I have applied for a study permit a year ago ( For a language school) and my visa application has been accepted. I had got visa for 7 months. And then when my visa nearly expired I have applied for visitor visa. That also has been accepted. After that I have decided to go to a college in Canada and and get a confirmation letter from the college. But after 4 months later I have received the decision letter yesterday ( 16 October) saying that
"This letter refers to your application for a study permit. Based on your application and accompanying documentation that you have provided, I have carefully considered all information and I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act and Regulations. Your application as requested is therefore refused.

You are not a person described in Immigration Legislation who can apply for this type of document from within Canada. An application of this type must be made at a Canadian Visa office in another country.

You are a person in Canada without legal status and as such are required to leave Canada immediately. If you do not leave Canada voluntarily, enforcement action may be taken against you."

What should I do now and which options do I have ?
Can I apply for a second consideration ?

Please advise me...

why didn't you extend your first study permit?

I was thinking that staying in Canada for three more months is enough for me. After my second application I have decided to go to a college and received the acceptance letter.

Your big mistake was applying without legal status in Canada ,now you can adk an experienced lawyer to write you a good reconsiration letter that may help, but otherwise I believe that your situation is tough and even in the future you would have a hard time getting any type of visa for Canada since you violated the terms of your previous visa.

I just think that my language school is one of these. Maybe it is a good idea to write a letter and explain everything.

I was a student at ILAC.

Was the language school a condition for you to get the admission to the current course you want to do?
Given the info you provided I dont think it falls under this rule.

You are now under their radar. They have directly told you that you are misusing your tourist visa. Don't create further mess and go home. Apply from there.

If you don't act aptly now, then leave aside Canada, you may face visa problems with other countries in future.

Hi Everyone,

Unfortunately I didnt added a document that proves I have completed a course in here. So I know that I only have a little hope for that. But I think the main problem here is I cant apply online in their opinion just because I havent added the course document.

I will consult a lawyer tomorrow. And if the answer is negative I will leave the country asap.

One more question ; If I apply for reconsideration , How long does it take before their decision ?

Thanks for the reply. As I mentioned before If the answer from the lawyer is negative. I will leave. But It costs much to go to my homeland and coming back. So I am trying my all other options before I leave.
