STUDY PERMIT GAP , HELP

Hello, i have gap of 2 yrs from humber college (culinary management program and chose to withdraw) because of some family issues i can't go back to Canada. I changed to Advertising and marketing management communications in Humber and got accepted. I am planning to apply for a new visa and study permit, but will my application be accepted?? Because for the past 2 years i have been applying for jobs but never got accepted so i opened a small business of my own

Impossible to say. Will be dependent on how successful you were when you initially came to Canada, whether your choice of course makes sense based on your previous education and work experience. This is a dramatic shift in programs so you’ll need to explain. If you’ve opened up a small business you’ll need to explain why it makes sense to abandon your business to study in Canada.

Thankyou for your response, in my gap years i got into a digital marketing mini course for a week and that got me really interested in digital marketing , after that i still continue coming to their 2 weeks courses every 2 weeks and still learning about digital marketing until now. I just opened my business for a side hustle because i didn't get accepted at any job

The argument can then be made that you have had access to education in the field in your home country. Impossible to say what will happen.

Thanks, but is it impossible though, i thought getting accepted to the new program and pay for it is all you need

Getting the study permit is the hard part not getting accepted by the school unless it is a PhD or masters program.

Thanks, but besides all the documents i have to submit, i would have to write an explanation letter right, stating when i dropped culinary management and what activites that's been happening for the past 2 years also the reason why i didn't come back sooner right?, I withdrew from culinary management and take a new program because i want a pgwp, i am afraid if this reason is not acceptable since they would see that i want to work and possibly stay in canada after graduation. Need your advice please, thanks in advance

Yes you must write an SOP. Getting PGWP is not a reason to have a study permit approved. You must prove that you are a genuine student and the degree will help further your career in your home country,

Hello , hope you are doing well. I'm doing my own application for study permit in ircc , but i'm worried if i wont get accepted because of my gap years. I can write a letter of explanation but afraid if it's not enough. Do you think asking for an education agency to take care of my visa + study permit but costing me $285 worth it? Which one is better? Because i really want to save some money for medical check up which costs me $200 . Thank you and sorry for bothering
