As I was filling up the forms on my application checklist, I came across a field that I am unclear about.
Within the imm1294e form, there is a field regarding 'Tuition' and another regarding 'Funds Available for my stay (CAD)'. For the uni I applied to, the University of Victoria, I think registering for fall courses only start after a few months. Therefore, my exact tuition amount is unclear at this point. So what do I input there?
Also, for the field 'Funds Available for my stay (CAD)', am I supposed to add the tuition, housing, and other fees together? Do I provide the amount for just 1 academic year or the entire duration of my studies? Can I just leave them blank and explain them in my letter of explanation?
My application progress has been put on hold because of this.

It is always safe to calculate the tuition amount for your entire program and your living costs, to write down in that space. IRCC needs to know if you can support yourself for the entire duration of your program. Reach out to the finance dept of your university for a rough estimate on tuition, or look at the previous year's tuition and add 5-10% to it, for a rough estimate.
