I'm having a little trouble here and hoping to get some advice. I submitted a study permit renewal online and on time, however, the online form didn't ask for the school's acceptance letter (nowhere to upload the file). I was thinking CIC would contact me and ask for it if they needed it since there was nowhere to upload it. Anyhow, the permit was denied because of I was missing that document so I quickly resubmitted the entire package in paper this time paying again for the study permit and the restoration of status fees.
According to the processing times, it should be processed in the next few weeks but my study permit has already expired. Anyone know how long it takes to receive a decision after it shows the application is being processed?
Now, on my pending study permit that I re-submitted 2 months ago I used June 30th as the date I wanted the permit extended until since that's when my classes end for my current studies. I wanted to change schools to finish up my high schools studies and I have a new acceptance letter from the school from June until next January.
Since I haven't received a decision yet, but assuming I get extended until June 30th, according to the processing times I should be submitting my application to renew again before April 8th in order for the requested study permit not to expire again ..
What should I do?
