Study Permit Extension Mistake

Hello guys.

I already applied for my study permit extension and got the decision today. I then realised that I have a mistake in my application.

Here is the detail:

In my application form IMM5709, there is a question asking me regarding with the details of intended study in Canada. My second program will end by August 17,2018 and I have no idea that I have to extend 3 more months after my program ends. I’m so glad that the decision was made like 3-4 days cas I know it would take awhile but my problem was I have a shorten expiry date.

Can somebody please help me? Thank you so much!

You will need to apply to extend the permit again before it expires. You should be able to get a letter from your institution of study indicating that you have been a full time student there which will include your program end date. You can attach that letter under the "letter of acceptance" section on the extension application. Make sure you apply to extend at least 30 days before your permit expires
