I am in last year of my bachelors. I am taking 3 courses right now in summer and need to take 3 more in spet to dec 2015 semester to graduate.
I have been here since 2010.

my last year transcripts are as follows:

F- fail
IP - in progress
D - just pass (still counts as a passed grade just with low gpa.)

summer 2014:
D
C
D

fall 2014:
F
F
F
D
D
VW

winter 2015:
VW
C
D
C+
D

summer
F
IP

IP

fall 2015:
to take 3 more courses.

I messed up fall 2014 semester taking too much course load as I was trying to graduate faster by taking more load so that i dont have to extend study permit but it backfired completely and i got depressed and did showed up for 2 exams which cause 3Fs in one semester.

I just need extension for 1 more semster so I can graduate.
my study permit expires on july 31 2015.

I have been struggling academically and in depression since 2012 since then my grades are very bad.
What are my chances that that visa officer can cause deny my from extension for last time?

first time I got one year visa in 2010 (jan intake) and i succesfully finished 1st year in college and got extension upto 2014 july.
in july i asked for 1.5 years extension but got just 1 year. (my grades were very bad that time but got 1 year somehow)

Then I tried to complete it in one year by taking more courses but got overloaded and in anxiety I screwed up one semester completely (fall 2014)

I also changed my bachelor from 4 year to 3 year to shorten the process which did't really helped as 7 of my courses which i passed are not counted in my degree anymore.

- I met a legal consultant and they advised me to put a return ticked with my application to show I intend to leave country on finishing my degree.
- I talked to my university and my student advisor confirmed that they can provide me a letter stating that I am a bonafide student and maintained full time student and needs 1 more semester to finish my degree.
- also i am attach a letter of explanation to visa officer stating that I am trying my best to finish and am very close to finish this degree.

This degree means a lot to me. I have invester to much time and resources in it and dont want to go back without it.

Please advice if you have relevant experience in this case.

Including grades in extension request is optional.

You only need to include a letter confirming registration.

I called cic about this rule of optional transcript:

the person on call center said if i have taken any courses in last 2 semesters I should attach my transcript.
also even if grades are not that good I did not failed completely in semesters. I mean i did pass something at least and winter 2015 even not shiny grades all the passed and accepted my degree.

I mean in a way i did made some progress towards completion. I am not sure visa officer will count it as reasonable or not.

My main concern is just can they say no to extension beacuse its taking too long for me to complete. But at same time I just need 1 more semester to finish.

When you apply online it says returning students should only submit a Registration letter. It does not mention a transcript

That is true. My husband just renews his SP and he did not submit transcripts, only a letter from his College stating the need of the extension!

According to Guide 5552 - Applying to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay in Canada - Student

What information do I need to apply?
proof of academic standing at institutions: letter from institutional registrar and photocopies of transcripts from your last two periods of study, if you have studied for two consecutive periods (trimesters, semester etc.) prior to your application for renewal of your study permit.

I hope this can help you...

It's optional only when applying for TRV inside Canada, for SP extension, it's required.

Could go either way to be honest. I've seen people get it with just a letter of registration as I'm sure you have as well.

When you actually apply online, in the place where it asks you to upload the file, it only says to include a "Registration Letter" for returning students. No mention whatsoever of a transcript.

Personally, I've seen alot of university students just use enrollment letter and get approved but I'm not entirely sure about colleges.

Hello

I’m studying in bachelor degree. I got the student visa for Canada last year on July, but the length of my visa is just for one year because my first semester was in ESL(language courses) on September 2018. And after that I came to first year of university and I passed second semester in university on January 2019.
I’ll have to apply for study permit and visa again this summer.
So now I passed my level 4 of ESL since last September to January and then after that one semester in university since January to April.
My question here is, as there is a part in document checklist for extending visa and it mentioned that if I passed two study periods I have to upload my transcript, In my situation do I still have to upload my first semester of university (which was on January 2019- April 2019) transcript?
I asked this question because I just passed one semester at University not two and also we don’t have any transcript for ESL courses we just have the certificate for that level that means we passed that lever.

Your help is greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time
