Study Permit Extension - Approved?

Hi

I applied for my extension on March 2nd. Today, I randomly opened my IRCC portal and it said a final desicion has been made ( I did not get any notification ). I scrolled down and it said my application was approved. I also got an expiry date of the new document.

The thing is, I did not get any letter or an official confirmation yet in my messages. When can I expect that? Can I finally relax and think of my application as approved 100%.

There is a lag time. This was fast processing but otherwise seems like you have been approved although until formalized you can never be 100%.

If you can see an expiry date and a number, then you are approved and you will receive your study permit by mail. The confirmation letter itself is not that critical but you will get it eventually.
