study permit extension after switching from yr 1 program to 2 yr program

Hi please I need to know if there would be any consequences if I switch to a 2 yr course from a 1 yr course when the 1 yr study permit is about to expire.

You will have to apply for SP renewal. Most likely problematic if you switch at the end without passing the first course.

No 'Gas course' can extend your PGWP. It's once in a lifetime thing.

Hi, I mean doing a GAS course after 1 yr program den applying for PGWP . Heard it gives 2 or 3 yrs PGWP ...pls how true is dis?
