I am a returning international student and I have been away from Canada more than 2 years
because I had to serve 21-months of mandatory military service in South Korea.
I am trying to apply for study permit and I have received a confirmation of enrollment letter(COE) from SFU.
According to my confirmation of enrollment letter, my program starts on May 7, 2018 and
the program ends on December 31 2018. My anticipated Convocation Ceremony is June 2019.
My question is as follows:
Is it possible for me to receive a study permit which is valid until June 2019?
I have been working on my course plan.
Unfortunately, it is impossible for me to finish the program by December 31 2018
because my program curriculum has been changed for the last 2 years.
Therefore, I need to take new courses additionally.
I am going to be the full time student all the time and will put every effort to finish the program
as soon and effectively as possible.
However, I cannot possibly finish my program by December 31 2018 because I do not have enough time.
Any suggestion or advice will be appreciated.
