Ive came in Canada December 2015 and got study permit at the airport until Nov 2016 with no work entitlement. I took english course and finished it successively. And recently accepted for Master course with the university fund. In order to get stipend from the uni during my master study I need SIN number but canada center didnt issue me SIN because of my no work condition on the study permit. so what do I have to do now? apply new study permit or just change condition of the study permit? I was told need to submit following FORM IMM1436 which is "Requesting an amendment of your Temporary Resident document". Is it right form or not? No idea?
