Study permit cancelled without request

Hi, hope someone can offer some help or advice.
I had applied for nursing management at a college in Canada and I had received my official acceptance letter. Fees had been payed to university and the offer letter had been received along with my passport request so everything has been done like normal however I have now received a letter saying my application for study permit has been withdrawn ”as per my request”. I have not made a single request to cancel anything and am very confused as to why I have received this letter. Has this happened to anyone else after being accepted? And what are my next steps now?

Its confusing, who requested you for the passport? IRCC or the college? had you submitted an application to IRCC for a study permit and it was approved?

IRCC had requested for my passport to put my visa on, and yes I had submitted an application to IRCC and they had approved my study permit so practically everything was done

Earlier post you said application was withdrawn as per your request assuming that it was on-progress pending final determination, but now IRCC approved your study permit. Its still not clear

Someone else had your information like UCI and application number? maybe that someone requested on your behalf?

Earlier post you said application was withdrawn as per your request assuming that it was on-progress pending final determination, but now IRCC approved your study permit. Its still not clear

So on my CIC account under the final decision it said that “your application has been approved and you need to send in your valid passport to finalise your application” I then sent it and then today I received that message saying I had cancelled it when I have done nothing like that

Someone else had your information like UCI and application number? maybe that someone requested on your behalf?

The only people that have this information is me and my agent I applied through so do you think it could be a mistake on IRCC‘s behalf?

Could be technical glitch not sure about. If application is approved, did you send your passport or you were about to then you received that message.. you can call and ask for clarification on that confusion

Never heard of this before so can't suggest what you can do at this point. Have you tried calling them or raising a webform? you have no doubt on your agent?

If your passport is with them, then either you can wait for the passport to return or call/raise webform to tell them you never requested a withdrawal. If passport returns without a visa, call/webform fetch no results then get advice from a good lawyer.
