I am applying for my Study Permit tomorrow for the May intake and I just want guidance on the documents that i have readied. The following documents are the ones that I am submitting:

Application form
Photo
Passport copy
Medical Letter
Letter of Explanation
Family form
Sponsorship Letter from Employer + written affidavit on stamp paper signed by public notary + Bank account maintenance certificate

Are these documents enough and am I good to go?

Anything to show proof of ties to your home country? What about IELTS results? What about transcripts from your previous studies?

I also have an IELTS certificate with an 8.0/9.0 band. Did my undergrad from The University of Nottingham so will also be uploading those transcripts and degree certificate. I am from Pakistan.

I studied from 2012-2015 abroad for my undergrad and then came back to Pakistan to start my job. Is that enough to show my ties to my country? That even though I studied abroad I still came back.

What program did you apply to? Coming back to home country doesn't mean you have strong ties. Since you want to leave again. You need to prove that you would come back after studies in Canada.
Chances of getting approved for study permit is higher if you had applied to Grad program.

Best of luck mate!

I am applying for Masters in Mechanical Engineering in University of Manitoba. Also my employer is sponsoring me on the condition that I come back after my studies and resume my work. So there’s that. Will the fact that it’s in Manitoba help my case?

You profile is good. But no one can predict here the outcome. Can only hope for the best.
Let us know how you go:)

All the best!
