I am going to apply for my study permit in India but I am worried about the time frame. I am waiting to complete my GIC application (started again on 19 Nov because of a mistake by my agent (former)) which may finish after 1st December. I am thinking about applying without GIC and just show the funds (10000 CAD) in my Bank account but i am not sure that will suffice for my Financial proof. I have already paid my 1st semester tuition fees.

I am not sure if i should apply without GIC with just the bank statement or wait for GIC then apply?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I am enrolled at University of Victoria for the Physics undergrad course

Its depends upon which category you apply. If you apply under SPP program then you definitely need GIC but if you apply under general category then u need more documents to support your financial i.e valuation report, bank statement n all.
