I'm holding a Philippine passport, Singapore resident, married with 3 children. (11, 14 and 16 years of age).
I just got my LOA and hoping to attend the Sept sem this year and contemplating if I should or should not apply with my family?
- If to apply with the family--- what type of visa should i apply for my children and spouse? (options are: visa-tourism / visa-all types / student permit / work-open work permit)
- we plan to enroll the children in school next academic year (2018) in Canada -- do they need study permit? My understanding is that they don't since they are still minors.
- If not to apply with family --- Since the AY in Canada starts in Sept and ends in November here in Singapore, can they just follow as visitors first (TRV) then apply for an open work (husband) or study (children) permit, if needed, after arrival in Canada?
I would appreciate your comments/suggestions and experiences.
