I'm from India, my study permit application through Non-SDS mode has just crossed the 7 weeks standard processing time. My eligibility has been in process since Aug 08th. What can I do to let IRCC know that it has crossed the standard processing time? Call IRCC? Sending a webform? Or just wait until a decision is made?

My first application in 2022 was refused in 2 weeks time. But now it is taking longer.

okay, I will try calling them first and then a webform.
Are you in Canada to call? You will have to use VPN and agent can only tell you the status. They will say reason for delay is backlog. Assume it is for winter 2024 tern.

I can call using Hushed android app. So you suggest webform over a telephone call? Yes, it is for winter 2024 term. I have a backup admit from another country. I am just hoping for a quick result.

You can call first and will be lucky to get through. You are speaking to a call centre agent not an officer so the agent can tell you the status but not expedite your file. There are no quick results with applications.
