I applied for my undergraduate study permit from Bangladesh in November. I submitted everything and completed the full visa and study permit application by 12 November 2023. My intended semester was Winter 2024. But unfortunately, my visa approval is taking longer than usual. Now I have nothing to do except go for the next Spring 2024 semester. But I still haven't received anything final from the IRCC yet. I am almost checking my IRCC application status tracker every day. For the last 3 weeks, I have seen in my status tracker portal that my "background check" and "eligibility" checks have been completed. They have already updated my study permit number, expiry date, visitor visa number, and expiry date on the IRCC tracker system (Not on GCKey). On the application history, they gave me a message saying "We sent you a message about your application. Read the message carefully and take appropriate action as necessary." So I logged into my GCKey account and only got a correspondence letter saying that my biometrics are valid for the next 8-10 years. But other than that, I didn't get anything. I didn't get a final decision regarding my application. Now I am worried about, why it is taking longer than usual to get a final decision about my study permit. It's been almost 3 months since I applied and I need to hear the decision ASAP as I have to complete my registration for my next semester. Should I check or need to do anything else? On the GCKey I haven't got anything. But on the IRCC application status tracker, my details for a study permit and visitor visa are given. When will I hear about the final decision about my application? About the message they mentioned, where should I check other than my GCKey account?
