Hello All,

I just wanted to know what are study options for my nephew who will complete 10th class this coming march.

1. Where does he has to get admission? I mean in college for some diploma or some cegep school?
2. When to start applying for admission(He will be free next march)? and How much is the average fees for school or college?
2. I am a canadian pr, so can I be his custodian(He is 15)? or his parents also needs to come here?

Any kind of help is much appreciated. If anyone knows any link to some website, that will also be helpful.

Thanks

He is about to finish his 10th class, he can not have an admission in a college; he has to go for a High School.
2. When to start applying for admission(He will be free next march)? and How much is the average fees for school or college?
As early as you can, most probably in January 2020 as the process contains various steps which will take time. The fees for International students are high as compare to locals which can range from 8K to 14K CAD per year approx.
2. I am a canadian pr, so can I be his custodian(He is 15)? or his parents also needs to come here?

Yes, you can be his custodian, his parents need to sign a specific form for this. His parents may or may not come.

Any kind of help is much appreciated. If anyone knows any link to some website, that will also be helpful.

Thanks for your reply.

here are few more questions:

2. Does he have to give ielts?

1. Private schools will be significantly more than 15K. You will have to take him to public school so something close to your home would l8ely be best. Unless you or his parents are very wealthy I would save your money for university versus high school. You may be able to pay for a really great private international school at home for 15k.

Did he got the admission?

As far as I know schools are not in DLI list, so he cannot get student visa.
