Study gap

Hi there ,

i have completed my high school (+2) in 2007 and now want to continue my study . please advise if i can apply to Canada with having such gap , but i have a work experience of 8 years as well .

Don't they consider so much gap...i have 4 years after graduation doesn't it effect in anyway .....i am working and have full work experience
