study gap 5 years but i have work experience, can i apply for study visa?

I have 3 diploma in mechanical engg. I done it in 2009. Now I am working as a Quality supervisor in manufacturing MNC group. My working experience in same field. I want to know about, can I apply for study visa under SPP. But my study gap is 5 years. I have confused. SO please give me suggestion about this
