I am graduate international student who just defensed my thesis on May 25th. I will apply for post graduate work permit early June and plan to visit back to China in late July or early August.
My student Visa has expired. It takes about 2-3 months to get post graduate work permit. I am thinking to apply for VISA based on my study permit which is still valid until 2012 November. It may take 3 weeks to get it. Meanwhile I could apply for post graduate work permit. Is it possible for me to come into Canada after graduation with post graduate work permit and student VISA? Or should I have to wait until post graduate work permit arrives and then apply for work VISA to be able to come into Canada after traveling back home? Thanks!
