Hi everyone,

how are the chances for someone to get a student's visa, if he is applying from afghanistan? That person is an excellent student and holding a Bachelor's degree, with a good employment history in his home country.
Is there any chance for him to be admitted as a student or will he probably be denied because of his nationality? Any experience?

There is always a chance, if he has sufficient funds for international student rates, and living expenses. Nationality has nothing to do with it.

You also have to remember that you need to prove the the immigration officer that once you have finished your studies you have to go back to Afghanistan, looking at the present state of Afghanistan there are more people wanting to leave without returning so you have to build a pretty strong case.

Thank you, that's reassuring.
