Which course/college are you in? did you go via a consultant ?
I looked at details and could not find a college/uni offering post graduate programs . Do they only have post secondary education in MB ?

Sorry for all these questions , thanks very much

Abhi,

Please could you share the course selected ?
I have not applied yet and was informed by the consultant that the chances of getting visa is less if MB is selected - I hope not.

Hey i have selected undergraduate degree program in Biotechnology. And no dear, chances of visa are less in cities over populated with immigrants such as Toronto. Manitoba is not one of them.

The prob with me is I am a graduate so should opt for a post graduate program or Masters - and unfortunately Masters requires GMAT that I havent appeared for yet. Do you know of any PGD management courses in Manitoba ?

Hi,

I think you are looking for a MBA program without GMAT. Well I know atleast 2 schools offering MBA as such, but keep in mind both are low grade schools.

1. Vancouver Island University.

2. Royal Roads University.

If not interested in MBA, thn you can try for "Graduate Diploma in Business Administration", John Molson School of Business, Concordia University. Keep in mind its a 1 year course and the ONLY of its kind run by a reputed business school in Canada.

Hi,

In Manitoba (Winnipeg) the cost of living is generally low. You can expect to pay,

CAD 375 for one room in a shared apartment.

CAD 150 for self cooked food.

CAD 25 for fast internet.

And may be other project/study, transportation related costs.

*based on what my cousin who lives just outside of Asper School of Business, University of Manitoba, told me !

Thanks Enfield - yes, i did send an enquiry to 2-3 universities as there is a pre-requisite to have a 4 year post secondary education along with the GMAT score to be eligible for the MBA program. So although I sit for the GMAT exam, I still wont be able to qualify as my bachelors is of 3 years only.
I am not interested in a low grade school hence I opted out of the ones that did not ask for GMAT & is low in ranking.

I will PM you too.
