It's misrepresentation to lie about your marital status which is an immigration crime. Do not lie in your study permit application to Canada. It's possible you may get away with this lie while applying for a study permit. However if you plan to apply for PR, this lie will become a very big problem and will lead to refusal.

If you want a future in Canada, you have to be 100% honest about your marital status in your visitor visa application.
