for getting student VISA, does IELTS score is necessary? I am from INDIA & got offer at ryerson university but i havnt taken IELTS exam so far. is it necessary to submit IELTS score for getting student visa.

I suppose they will but you have to see on the university site or ask the Admission department there.
If your university accepted you without asking for IELTS or TOEFL results that means if you get SP and come to Canada the university will request you to take an English placement test and based on the results either allow you to enroll into academic program or offer you to take ESL classes first. They could also offer you to take academic AND ESL classes simultaneously , and that means spending more time and money.
