I would like to ask a question regarding Student Permit.
Currently I am a visitor in Canada and I applied for a student permit within Canada and my application has been refused because I am not allowed to apply from withing Canada. I have been studying in the United States for 5 years and I am a citizen of Macedonia. I have been advised to apply again in L.A Consulate. Is this true? Can I apply in L.A online or it has to be by paper? Also do I have to be physically out of Canada to apply for a Student permit?; or I would have to return to my home country to apply for this kind of visa?
