Student Visa Rejected :( need advice

Hi All,

My visa was rejected today, I applied for Software & Information System Testing (Co-op) PG Diploma 1 year course in Fanshawe College.

My Profile
Sr. Software Developer
8 years experience
BSc. in Computing and Information Systems
IELTS: L-8, S-7, R-6.5 W-6.5 - Overall 7.0

- My wife and children will be staying in my home country, will be going alone.
- I have shown $24,000 CDA in my own bank account (FDR) which is there for 2 years.
- I have shown assets
- My aunt will be providing rest of the money, she has shown $98,000 CDA

Reason for Reject
- I dnt have sufficient financial resources to study and live in Canada.
- I will not be returning back to my home country after completing my studies.

I am really confused what went wrong, which site is most safe and reliable to apply for GCMS notes? It will be helpful if i can do the payment by Card since my country dnt support paypal.

Apply for GCMS here, https://caipsgcms.com/. Since, you will be working full-time in Canada, you need to show a lot of funds for your wife and children in India. There may be other reasons which you will only know from your GCMS notes.

I thought i only have to show funds to support my studies in Canada, do i also need to show funds for my family living in my home country Bangladesh?

well, you need to assure the officer that you wont be working illegally in Canada to earn money for your family back home. These things are not asked in the checklist but there are lots of factors that the officer would consider before granting the study permit to you.

If i apply again for September intake, can i change my subject and university? I will i have to give them reason for changing?

Given your background as a Sr Software developer your choice of study seems pretty basic. You need to pick a diploma or degree that will add to your knowledge and make sense given you academic and employment history. I also agree that the funds seem a bit low.

hi, thank you for the feedback.

My course and living expense was about $30,000, so i thought more than $100,000 should be enough. How much more should i show for a year course?

For September Intake
I got accepted to Concordia University in Graduate Diploma in Computer Science, should i change my course to that?
Also got accepted to Conestogac College for Computer Applications Development course

I think the issue is the majority of the money is coming from a family member who is not a parent. It would be best if you could increase your personal savings even by a little bit. Not a CS person so can't recommend what course but it seems given your background that it should be an advanced degree. Have you considered immigrating via economic means? Have you looked whether you qualify? I assume that is what you are trying to do.
