Hello everybody,

I'm actually a Student in Ontario and I was working for a company part-time as describes on the cic website. I just discovered that he hired me as subcontractor, so I don't know if it is possible with a Student Visa

Hope someone can help me.

Thanks

Anyone has any idea? or how to verify?

Cic website say that you can work only for 20 weeks but don't specify anything

I think you mean 20 hours per week which can only be whilst you are in full time education. Others can comment but being a sub contractor i do not think has any relevance as long as you do not work more than 20 hrs a week, the ability to work whilst a student is in effect an open permit so you can work for anyone. You cannot claim any of this work as Canadian experience anyway as far as immigration goes.

Oh yes, I know that. The important is that it's legal with my visa. Thank you so much!
