so you are expecting a realtime response on a forum ? Based on your single sentence with no background information at all not sure anyone can answer. Applications can show as updated for many reasons but does not necessarily mean anything but without any background such as timings or status nobody can really comment.

I woke up today and saw in my cic account that my application is updated. I dont know what does it means? Will I get their decision today?

You can check your application status by using cic account. If there is something in Final Decision row then you will get a notification via email soon (mine is after 1 day).
If you applied from vfs and registered to get status updated via email, you will get another notification from vfs to collect your things when your application (passport, letter of approval..) reached to VFS office.

Anyway, you can call or chat to vfs. You can find hot line number or hot chat box in vfs website.

I have completed my bachelors in English literature from India with first class. I also have a level B1 in French. I have 7.5 overall bands in ielts. L-8.5, R-8 , W-7, S-7.5. I also worked as a preschool teacher since 6 months. I have been rejected Canadian student visa 2 years back. Is applying for early childhood education advisable for my profile ? If not, which course should I apply to ?

Updated is good news in the sense that, something is happening with your application. Either the biometrics, or medicals or other documents have been reviewed or have been sent for review. It does not mean that your application has been approved or rejected.
