Hey guys,

I have a terribly troublesome situation that I could use any help at all with.

I came to Toronto, Canada from Australia with my parents 11 years ago, in order to live closer to my grandmother, who is a Canadian citizen. Over the years, as the PR application was being processed, I was studying with student visas. In July 2009, my student visa expired and as I had grown up relying on lawyers dealing with this case that I was brought into, I checked my visa around 8 months after, which was well over the deadline. When I asked the lawyers what should I do, they said, stay in Canada and keep quiet, as your PR application is still being processed. Now my PR was rejected and I left back to Australia. I have only one semester of classes left that I have to do in order to complete my degree and continue with my life. I got back here in May, and reapplied for student visa - rejected - on grounds that I breached the conditions of my last stay and that I have family ties here. I am working on reapplying again now so I can get back in September.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Cheers
