I got my student visa but I just want to know what is the difference between student visa and study permit, also if there is any difference then when and how will I get my study permit?

The stamp on your passport is for travel purpose only.
U need a study permit to study in Canada.
And the actual Study Permit will be issued at The Port of Entry in Canada by CBSA officer.
