I want to apply for Student visa but a consultant has told me that colleges and universities in canada accepts not more than 7-8 backlogs. I have applied for the backlog certificate and i roughly have 15 backlogs. should I prepare for IELTS academics ? do I have scope for study visa or not? I was working while doing my Graduation and since 2016 I was working but after that I am a house wife. Please give you inputs. I want to apply In Saskatoon Polytechnic as my family lives there. how many backlogs does Saskpolytechnic accept?
PLease suggest.

If you can, avoid consultants. You can do everything on your own. All college/uni information, as well as IRCC information, can be found in the respective organization’s website. And if anything is not clear, you can ask in this forum. Lots of veteran members are willing to help for free!

Start by communicating directly with Saskatoon Polytechnic and see what their requirements are.

Send them an email and inquire. Reach out to the international students office or the particular program’s coordinator. Colleges are usually very accommodating, especially to international students. I sent a lot of inquiries to my college back in 2017 before applying a year later.
