Hello everyone,
I am a phd student in Canada and I have two sisters (14 and 25). Recently, I requested visiting visa for my parents and my sisters all together and unfortunately, they got rejected due to lack of family tie in the original country and the purpose of the visit.
On the other hand, the day that we received the rejection we received a high school acceptance letter for my younger sister. Now my top priority is to get a visa for my sister since I have paid a lot of money for her tuition. Can you please help me how to approach?
In my mind there are two possible scenarios:
1- student visa application for my sister and visiting visa for my mother
2- visiting for both my mother and sister and then if hopefully they get that then we apply for student visa when my sister is in Canada (inside).
I appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you!

The question is, to avoid another rejection, how will you overcome reason on previous rejection about family ties and purpose of visit?

Thanks for your response. To avoid this I am going to apply just for my mother and my sister. In that case, my father and older sister will be their family ties in the original country. But I am not sure what to do about the purpose of the visit.
That’s why I was asking about the possible scenarios.

You can apply for both, but moving two close related at the same time weaken family ties back home, but i'm not say you cant or another automatic rejection. there was a mistake when you applied for all of them altogether for visit visa, and usually as a phd student most parents gets 10yrs visa if you applied for one, but your initial application included all of them at once. Another factor will be your COO condition and IRCC perspective on. You need to make decision how you want to proceed, and you will overcome those reasons if you apply for 2 this time

The best option is only for your sister to apply for the study permit. No other family member should apply.
