Hello everyone,
As the title says I had an international student status in Canada but at the beginning of this year (2018) it expired. Now, I have a tremendous issue dealing with anxiety and thus I just did not send the application for renewal as fast as I would have wanted. There is a 90 day restoration period that the government allows in order to send this application and I, being super smart of course (not) sent mine on day 90. On the last day. My application is not to renew my student status but to get a tourist or visitor visa, the application is complete and everything and I paid my fee but I am just nervous that it will be all for nothing. On the confirmation letter that they sent me they have two different dates, they sent the letter today April 17 but in the letter it also says:

This confirms that your application has been received by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) on
______2018/04/18____________(yyyy/mm/dd).

Does this mean that they will evaluate my application as if it was sent tomorrow? That would be day 91! Would it still go through? I am so nervous. Has someone else been through this? Got any advice?

Did you also apply to restore your status? You needed to apply to restore your status and also for the tourist visa.

The application had to be received by IRCC within the 90 days. If your application was received on the 91 days - you should be expecting a refusal.

Also, if you did not apply to restore your status, you'll definitely be refused.
