student spouse visa

Hello friends....

my friends girlfriend recently got student work permit.She is now in canada studying.
she wants to bring him to canada too.
is there anyway she can sponsor him.
she said she can come to india and amrry him next month...
will that help him getting visa?

and she got 1 yr of student permit starting in april i think.

pls help guys....

Only citizens and permanent residents can sponsor a spouse under the Family Class.

In that case, you posted in the wrong section of the forum. You posted in Family Class Sponsorship. http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/international-students-b2.0/ is the correct one.
