I am a student from China. I underwent medical examination on April 8th, more than one month has past, I have received no informaiton. Other students obtained their visas only two weeks after the examination, I am on edges now, who can shed some light on how long it would take at maximum to get the visa after medical examination. Thanks.

My medical went on 28th man.. evverybody is crying here.. but the point is that ur friends got it and u havent.. u did ur medical on 15 but when did u submit ur case.. wts ur nationality and according to cic website wts the time period for china..if its past that time then email them or call them..

According to their regulation on website, the post medical examination processing time is 10 working days. Now it's been more than one month since I took the examination.By the way,I am a Chinese student, submitted in Beijing.

well u better give them a call then and ask the status of ur application.. i dont know whats wrong with them this year because normal time in pakistan is 45 to 60 days but itx my 95th day and i havent received my visa yet..

My visa is finally issued. What a long Marathon-like process. It was really a torture, I was nearly driven crazy and almost gave up.

hey glowies.. congrats man.. so where r u heading.. which state. which programme and which degree and whenn

Hi Glowie

Which Uni or college are u attending and what program are u taking?

Are u a BJ natives? When are u coming over?

I will take the Grade12 and ESL courses in the so-called Columbia International College based in Hamilton, ON, which is a private school, the expense is nose high, they charge you an arm and a leg. However it's said their university admission rate is pretty high. Be it whatever they will charge me, I will only stay for no more than one year there. Good luck to all of you. By the way, I am not a Beijing resident, but my home is not so far away from Beijing.

Hi Glowie

in the first place, why do u choose ontario schools or colleges? they are way too expensive and living cost is also costly there. Why do u choose a private college? to be frank with u, there is no such thing as easy admissions or colleges giving u guarantees that u will enter the college of yr choice.

I used to lecture in China universities and i also know quite a lot of chinese students here. Personally, i am not from China but i can advise u that such private schools are usually con-jobs and i would advise u to be careful of such schools giving u guarantees or promising good entry level rates!
