Hello.
I came to Canada with for an 8 month program and I was given a study permit from January to September 2020.
I passed 6 out of my 8 courses and I am looking to extend my student permit to retake my classes.
Technically, I will only need an extension of one month, since my program normally ends in August and I will complete my retake in October.
My initial plan was to prepare for a PHD or a scholarship during my PGWP. Will that still be possible?
Will I be granted an extension although all courses are online?
What if one these courses is not scheduled right after my permit expires?
Last thing, how will it affect my chances of getting a PGWP?
I will be grateful if anyone could advise me on these questions.
