Hello, i`m doing a 2 year software development program in Canada. I left my girlfriend in my home country, and we did`n realize how hard would it be to be so far away. I`m looking for a way for her to be with me during my studies. The only options i could think of is to get married and apply for her as a dependent (if it`s still possible because i already have my study permit), or to find her a job and apply for a work visa. I appreciate any information or alternative you can help me with. Thank you.

Both of these options are possible. You should note that it can be quite difficult to find an employer in Canada who is willing to go through the LMIA process in order to hire a foreign worker. In both cases she will have to prove that she has strong ties to her home country and no plans on remaining in Canada long term - and there's no guarantee of approval.
