Struck at 'We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.'

Hi All

I was wondering if anyone else is sailing in the same boat as me
Ottawa office

• Date Received: November 28, 2017
• Additional document request and Sent FBI Pcc in April,2018.
• Additional document requested: Wife's medical. Even though I had withdrawn her application because of our pregnancy in Dec 2017.
• Medical Passed Mid June, 2018.
• After that my status is struck on 'We are reviewing the additional documents you provided.' There is no update since. Is anyone having/had similar timelines. Any advice for me? I sent an email but didnt get any response..

You have to wait it out, they are processing your application. Alternatively, order your GCMS notes.

Thanks EE456...What is the usual processing time for such cases? My background check says '
Background check Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.'. Am I in IP1 or Ip2?

Applications are usually processed within 6 months but there have been a few changes in your situation during the course of processing and ADRs, hence the extra time. I have no way of telling you whether it's IP1 or IP2, it would only be a wild guess. You can order the GCMS notes which you'd got within a month and I would presume that you might get your PR before the GCMS notes. I can only wish you luck.

Did you get an update? I'm in the same situation..stuck in " we are reviewing the additional documents you provided " for 1.5 month now..bg not started

@jaspindersingh83 @pseetha did you ever get a status change on this? I've had "we are reviewing the additional documents...." for over a month now. It was a simple form they asked for so it shouldn't be taking this long but maybe they just didn't update it..
