Med's Done....
Sent with app
Soooo I came on here saying that CIC said my DM letter was mailed via Canada Post on Nov 23rd. Well this week it still isn't here.

Today I called CIC to ask what is going on. They said the SA / AIP / DM was actually sent to our rep's email but our rep has said she hasn't received anything. We are using a big well-known law firm so not like it's someone who wouldn't be checking their emails. CIC said today that they've requested another email to be sent out.
They also said our app is about to be transferred for Calgary for landing and that our landing letter would be emailed out too and then we have to contact Calgary to schedule it.

Ahhh. I thought it was all going smooth finally and now I feel stressed again :-\

Re: STRESSED

dont get stressed
instead find out some way
mail cic to ask about solution
if they dont
get agents advice

Re: STRESSED

You sure they sent it by email? I know they do but you never know. If by mail, remember, they use Canada Post and they are slow as hell right now. It took like 2.5 weeks for me to get an order I made on Black Friday.

Don't be stressed it'll work out. That's one of the downsides with going through a rep, you have a middle-man to deal with on all your correspondence.

I know how stressed you feel. :'(

I applied in early 2014 and was told they don't believe our relationship is genuine, had a an interview in late 2015 and was told still there not convinced. Have 2 kidz one 2yr old and one 4 yr old, my wife works two job and I try to send as much as I can afford. Our life hinges on the appeal process if not then I wont get to be with my wife and kidz.

......Anyway coming back to your problem.... that is very stressful indeed... ;D ;D

Re: STRESSED

So we got this letter via email Dec 2nd:
"This refers to the application of PR you made under spouse / common law in Canada Class.

It has been determined that you meet the eligibility requirements to apply for PR as a member of the spouse / common law canada class.
"

What is this? It was addressed to me, the principle applicant. It then goes into further details about how to contact CIC, etc. Is this just a generic letter or aip? I feel like I am losing my mind, lol.

AIP. Calm down, and walk away from the computer/phone/CIC. You're going crazy here, as evidenced by cross-posting the same stuff and talk about trying to remove your representation from the chain (which would take at least 10 days to complete, unless you did it by phone).

So, no more forum for you, no more CIC. Go out and enjoy the snow :).

Omg, thanks. I am sooo sorry for the cross posting! I was SO stressed as I was on the phone to CIC for 1.5 hour today and they were telling me diff info and dates than what I was told last week. I am going to cool down... literally.

After how many days when you received the AIP did you receive your PR? Thank you.
