i am sitting here trying to figure out how someone is expected to sum up a relationship, a whole relationship, in some letter. how does one gauge
and quantify love. I'm having so much trouble with this it's making me sick. i was pretty concise with all the other questions just getting the basics of the wedding, first date, and reception out but this part... how do i explain how much i have come to love and feel loved over the past two years of being with my husband.

Hey there, just be yourself, express you feelings, be honest, don't be shy. Write a letter that express your love and feeling to your husband as it is. We are not suppose to be writer and write in a very good way. just be yourself, and don't be shy.
good luck

NYCtoNB,

I don't believe you have to put your emotions on paper, that would be difficult for me as well, so what I have done is do a narrative using the questions on IMM5490 as my outline. For example, I have a section how we met, how relationship developed etc. I have found this to be quite helpful as it includes details you might have missed because it forces you to recall memories you don't keep in mind daily. I then used my narrative to go back and flesh out my answers. I also used this narrative as reference where more details were necessary.

Frankly I don't think CIC is too interested in the details of the romantic part of your relationship.
