Hello,
I just registered to this forum. Greetings. I am from Istanbul, Turkey and I live here.
I applied to skilled worker immigration through an agency called "Beyond Volesa Consulting" This agency's owner claims that they have a law office in Canada. By the way, if you know anything certain about this agency, please share with me.

I filled up immigration application forms and gathered all the documents about me and handed to those guys. I entered IELTS and had a score of 7.5, in the third week of January, 2014. I sent my IELTS score to Beyond Canada Consulting. Then, they told me that they have sent my application file to their law office in Canada. Now they tell me that my application file has been waiting in that law office since February because immigration position for my occupation (Graphic Design, I also create illustrations and animations) has not yet been opened. I am told that when this position for my occupation is open, then they will send my file to Canada consulate.

I have some bad feelings about this. Besides, I am confused. How does this work?
I would be happy to contact with former customers of this agency, if possible. Also, if anyone knows anything solid about this Beyond volesa consulting, please do share with me.
Thanks

1. Well a web search of the company doesn't turn up any results.
2. Graphic Designer, probably falls under 2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers which was an eligible occupation when Skilled worker opened 01/05/14, probably full or close to the CAP now.
3. Sounds and smells like a scam to me. You can probably kiss any money you have paid good bye.
