Stay in quebec with CAQ after expiry of visa.

I have study visa upto 30 November 2018 and I am having a valid CAQ and have also applied extension of study permit. But it is expected that I will receive the study permit near about 25-30 november 2018. Subsequently i will apply for extension of visa.

Can I continue my stay holding the CAQ even after expiry of visa or Should i get any permission from any authorities.

Please guide me accordingly
