You and your sponsor sign it and get it notorized by a notary public. Only need this if youre a cosigner.

Spousal sponsorship applications cannot have a co-signer.

Even though this is an optional document for a Common-Law applicant, feel free to include it if it makes you feel better (or before CIC asks for it down the road....which they sometimes do).

The cost for the Notary/Commissioner of Oaths is usually ~ $30 or so.
