Hi Guys! I'm applying under common law soon and I've heard ppl say you need a statutory declaration from a fam/friend however I'm not seeing this in the guide, can someone point me in the right direction. We are applying outland via mexico city. Is it possible that it's only for certain countries?

Any advice or links please :)

You need this form.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5409E.pdf

You need to submit only the documents/forms as mentioned in your regional checklist/guide.

Aren't you repeating this subject, which you had answers early this month??.

that form is good to have but it's not mandatory; yet some embassies like Buffalo, London ask to submit it afterwards....the 2 statutory declarations from family members/friends r mentioned in the region specific checklist under proof of relationship and under civil status id documents

Edit: if it's not mentioned in ur regional guides/checklist than u don't have to provide them but it would help
