STATUS SAYS "We started processing your application on Sept. 30, 2016," but

My application was received by CIC on June 23, 2016.

Last Friday I was able to check my status online using my old UCI number. I found out that the sent me a correspondence on Sept. 30, 2016 and started processing my application the same date.

I have been checking my email inbox and spam but still no email from CIC, anyone who experienced the same? What should I do now?
