Status of Visit Visa applied from Oman through VFS global

Dear Sir,

I have submitted an application for a Visit Visa to visit Canada to meet my son from Oman through VFS and biometric was completed on 8th June 2021 at Muscat VFS global center.

I have sent an email on 25th July 2021 and followed it up regularly. Latest emails dated 12.01.2022 and 1.02.2022

My son Ramaswamy Muthukumar is holding Canadian PR and working there.

Few months ago he met with an accident there and underwent treatment. My visit to him will help him to recover fast.

My wife applied for a visit visa from the USA ( LA) 2 months ago and she received a letter today asking her to submit the passport within 30 days.


I kindly request you to look into my application sympathetically and consider issuing a Visit Visa without further delay.

You should reapply through the new portal for your TRV.
