Hi, need your advise......

If anyone has a valid PR visa for 5 years and after 3 years or minimum stay in Canada, they opt to submit their citizenship application and, if In case their citizenship application receive rejection - in that scenario their PR is still valid?? Can they still stay in Canada as a permanent resident??

Looking for your reply. Thanks

Yes your PR is still valid unless it was uncovered during the citizenship application that you have become inadmissible, for example you committed a serious crime or you committed fraud in your original PR application (misrepresentation during the citizenship application won’t affect your PR status)
